[DSM on the belay of Cyclops Slab at Brean Down, 2 kb]One of the most striking lines visible from the beach when approaching the cliffs. Climb the chimney below the slab to a possble belay on ledges on the left. Climb the slab to a peg, then take a curving line away from the corner and back to join it near the top. Belay miles back.

bigtimematty - Lead dnf - 29/Jun/14 with marc fenton

much better than expected, pretty good rock and gear throughout, relatively speaking for brean. doing in one pitch with 60m twin ropes gets you to tree far off to right for belay at top
msoldn - Lead O/S - 01/Feb/14 with Mark

An adventurous, intimidating multipitch trad route with jack, just like the good old days. Stayed in the corner the whole way, and was increasingly terrified as the cluster of pegs got further and further away!
Stanners - AltLd O/S - 07/Apr/13 with Mark Davis, Jack Bradbrook

Proper adventure climbing with dodgy belays, crumbly rock and sloping grassy top outs, made even more atmospheric by the very grey overcast evening.
Quarryboy - AltLd O/S - 07/Apr/13 with Rob Stanfield, Mark Davies

Very loose top out, no stake or tree for belay. Very thin placement for belay points well back from the top edge.
Skullfire - Lead O/S - 13/Nov/11 with Mat Mitchell

arandall - 2nd O/S - 16/Aug/10 with Ben Kelsey

the top out is dire with suspect gear and no stake...

jon thompson27 - Lead - Mar/09 with Alex Thompson

Done in 2 pitches so there was plenty of rope left to find a belay at the top...it was needed!
Somerset swede basher - AltLd O/S - 27/Jan/08 with Tom Dixon

Lead the first pitch. Nice varied route with a steep start and slabby finish.
thomasadixon - AltLd O/S - 27/Jan/08 with Dom Sellers

Got the usual long route `Oh my leg's pumped in the first 10m already' thing but it felt strangely worrying. Should've brought by massive cam. Finished up the arete.
