Tim did the two main ice pitches. Both felt really hard. After second crux, the route seemed to go on and on in the dark

Top pitch stripped by recent thaw, couldn't find guide book suggested exit into south castle gully so ab'd back down route.

the most adventuros and scary solo climb , the traverse and the top were covered of powdery snow just good for avalanches ......
it is an amazing chili climb
Diego puerto - Solo O/S - 22/Feb/11

Two excellent pitches on steep ice!!
rob1 - AltLd O/S - 11/Feb/11
A couple of quality ice pitches. The top pitch was as steep as anything I've climbed on the Ben.

Fantastic lower ice pitch. Top pitch was not fully formed so finished up South Castle Gully.
Jim Slater - 2nd O/S - 01/Jan/11 with Grahame Clark, Phil Lee
Nice to see some people actually have led the top pitch before claiming it. A lot of people have OS's despite abseilling off before the crux pitch.

One of the scariest leads ever as top corner was very thinly iced on the left wall so took pretty much no gear for the whole pitch! Lower icefalls were excellent fun....

Final pitch very thin and scary
jimdanson - Lead O/S - 18/Mar/06 with danm
Led easy pitches 1 & 3. Crux pitch extremely serious
danm - AltLd - 18/Mar/06 with Jim Danson
No ice in corner on final pitch, just a vertical inch thick smear for 15m. No gear but amazing thin climbing. Just like the 3rd pitch of Gemini but with no gear.
akhughes - AltLd O/S - Feb/06
I took the easy pitch's very steep & rotten ice
Yourlead - AltLd - 26/Apr/01 with Graham Penny
