A brilliant route, one of the best VS 4c's I've done! The start was tough 4c, the section near the top wasn't much easier, and the bits in between were no pushover. Miles harder than Raven's Tower which gets MVS 4b. P.S. One of the stuck cams has gone but the other one's still there (and wouldn't budge), the nut too (but looking corroded so I didn't clip it).

I found the initial layback as hard as anything higher up, HS 4b would seem about right to me. Good gear all the way and some rests and no 4c moves. If it was made VS it would be the easiest one in northumberland ;)
