200m. From Bealach an Toiteil, follow a line straight to the summit of Sgurr na Sgine, literally stepping off the scramble to summit by the cairn. From a distance and approaching from the South Shiel Ridge, the wall looks imposing and far too steep for a scramble, but once under and on it, the wall has pushed back and is less intimidating. Take note though, the face is serious and once on it, no escape route exists apart from up or reversing it. However, no surprises show up, and the climbing is steady, but a fall or slip would be best avoided. Because of the interspersing steep grass, this is best undertaken in dry conditions. Several lines are possible, taking in several rocky ribs. Some loose rock, but generally sound.
