Rockfax Description
From the top of the Freccia nel Cielo cable car station, follow a path on the west side of the ridge that heads to the col between Tofana di Mezzo and Dentro. Ascend the ridge up towards Tofana di Dentro with intermittent old cabling and many war remains. It takes around an hour to reach the summit of Tofana di Dentro (3238m) and more spectacular views. From here, either retrace your steps or, to continue the circuit, descend scree to the north passing Bivouac Degli Alpini (a possible stopover spot). The descent then turns east where several sections of easy cable and down climbing bring you to path 407, which you follow back to Rifugio Ra Valles and the cable car mid station. © Rockfax

UKC Logbook Description
The two VFs can be combined to give an excellant traverse of Tofana di Dentro, starting from the summit of Tofana di Mezzo and finishing at the Rif de Vales. Can even be combined with an ascent of Punta Anna to give a very long but exceeding memorable day out
