[Matt's "slight pose" on The Cull (E3 5b), 4 kb]A phenomenal pitch that features a steep initial section and a stunningly positioned final crack. Start on sea-level ledges below the steep corner-line. 34m. Climb the corner a short way and then the very steep flake-line on the right to less strenuous ground at 16m. Make a short traverse rightwards to a crack-system and follow it to the top. © ROCKFAX
Pete, bless his cotton socks, handed this one to me on a plate. Easily the best new route I've ever done. Just go and do it, it's worth the trip.

Originally seconded Matt Fry with Andrea 13/10/2010. At the time I declared it way too pumpy to lead so I was well pleased to get it. E3 5b describes it best - continually tiring with a run out to finish. A four star route.

Great climb! Moves fine, just too sustained and pumped at the top. Didn't have anything left to give. Had a rest and then completed. Hopefully one day I'll be back...
