The Ferbos ridge is the SE arête of Pic des Trois Conseillers 3039m.
From the dam on Lac de Cap de Long, take the route NW towards Pas du Gat (the col which crosses NE towards Lac Aubert); break off from this crossing and traverse W beneath the Crête des Laquettes & towards the S base of Pic de Neouvielle. Occasional cairns lead an ascending traverse towards the foot of the ridge at 2600m approx; it is accessed by a chimney with blocked boulder - turn this by the LHS.
Follow the well defined ridge to the summit, III+ max on mostly good granite. Links up well with the Trois Conseillers ridge. Friends and slings useful for protection.
