CONSIDERABLY HARDER THAN HVD! According to the Rockfax Northern England guide book it starts at the very bottom so we just soloed up the easly bit to the ledge, cleared up some of the rubbish and roped up from there. Pretty good up to the break where there's a nice spot for a nut on the left, but getting over that proved harder than I am. Escaped out to the right, set up a belay and did it on a Top Rope, still slipped off then. Bit damp in places!

Not at all obvious where it's supposed to start the first section. Old guidebooks start at the higher ledge, and the only half-decent climbing starts there anyway. All rather scrappy and escapable, with no line. And much harder than HVD!
