Gabe Oliver - Lead O/S - 24/Jul/13

I refused to use the rope to pull myself up but it certainly wasn't the most graceful of ascents...

Definitely one of my favorites at Ratho, well positioned crux just before the bomber gear.
Dr Toph - Lead rpt - 08/May/12 with Sophie

I thought it was pretty hard for the guide book e1 5b

With Jacob and Helena. Didn't finish this route as didn't want to commit to the sequence up the next gear from the ledge. Backed off by stepping over onto the ledge and using the ab rope as an anchor. Awesome crux.
James Oswald - Lead dnf - 09/Jul/11

Still ace. Couldn't get the first crux first time and jumped back to the ledge.

Neil Mackenzie - Lead O/S - 14/Jun/11 with Andy

gjd - 2nd - 12/Jun/11 with Sam Burns

Rushed it a little due to the driving rain pouring down the more exposed rock. Reached top moist and relieved. Interested to see couple shagging in a car in the car park at the top. Didn't offer protection. Gear possible on final crack and on top ledge.

Self belay. Hung on rope but only to convince myself that the Shunt would catch me. (2nd self belay)
JP78 - TR - 26/Jun/10

really nice climbing up to the big ledge, but couldn't commit to the move to the final crack with only a tied off rose bush keeping me from a 15m deck out. Finished up Shoskred - seemed about E1 5b this way.
JamieSparkes - Lead - 11/Apr/10 with Liyen Nhuyen

the move to last bits of gear would be necky, crux at top was nice on second:)
sebrider - 2nd O/S - 11/Apr/10 with Jamie

jamiefoxen - Lead O/S - 07/Nov/09

KatBlum - 2nd dog - 12/Oct/09

had to sit on the rope to get some gear out

1st route of the day. Got spooked by run out into top groove, easy climbing but gear was a loooong way down. Will go back with a bigger set of nuts!
kevg - Lead dnf - 08/Jul/09 with Fraser

Andy Moles - 2nd - 05/Jul/09 with Calum

Clean ground up after a fall last time.
andymoin - Lead - 03/Jun/09 with Rienhart

Hidden - 2nd - 2009

Felt similar to when I last did it 10 years ago! Quite hard E1 but very short hard section at the top. (E1 5c?) There is plenty of gear if you look around, bold bit is easy so not a problem...
Chad123 - AltLd O/S - 16/Oct/08 with Kiwi Steve

R0bbie - Lead O/S - 11/Oct/08 with Fin

Excellent route.quite bold. Deserves a star or two.
jazzyjackson - Lead O/S - 26/Jul/08 with Ian Jones

Really good. Gear spaced, but good when you need it.
Fultonius - Lead O/S - 03/May/08 with Andy Inglis

andyinglis - 2nd - 03/May/08 with Ally Fulton

It was dark, damp and dirty and felt hard for the grade, But well worth it for some nice moves on a good wee route
SeanB - 2nd - 23/Apr/08 with Andy

Really nice climbing; felt hard for 5b and bloody run out for e1. Def agree with the guide stated re-climbed grade of e2 5c. Took a fall from the top crux, I pissed around with gear to much and was too pumped the first time I went for it, should have gone straight away. Got it fine second go! Ground up not clean.
andymoin - Lead - 23/Apr/08 with Sean

Removed most of tree growing low down. Uesd new fence for anchor. Hard for my first E1 but great!
