Impressive climb from Brian given the problems with route description and weather.

traversed round to rocks just above water, 10 mins trying to figure route, headed right and up a flake that ran out so came down a bit and left to a series of ledges/rails, started raining and had to power thru to the ledge before I fell off,turned into an epic.Top section VDiff, still not sure of route.

Quite tough traverse and quite tough near the top. Went left of the thin crack which was supposed to be harder. Anyway got up to the ledge before Jim lead Red Lead.

Joe lead this from the base of Red Lead. traversed across the water to gain a good anchor then traversed up and right to gain the route.

Really enjoyed this climb. Have done it 3 times now. All the way to the top, or use the belay ledge. Tricky little traverse over the water to access the climb - as witnessed by DC who delighted us all by taking a full body plunge in the Auchinstarry pool :)

Really nice climb. Done this a few times on various dates. The first time (on 8th June) was started from the horizontal break 10m up. The second time the whole route was done as a multi-pitch route (pitch 1: from the water level to the horizontal break; pitch 2: from the horizontal break to the top). The third time the whole route from the water level to the top was done in one pitch at dusk. Repeated (Lead) 17/4/06 - Climbed well but felt my placements were a bit dodgy.
