It was a choice of going home or one last cheecky route. Ste had had enough & was content to take in the view whilst I did the route then abbed and stripped. Had to down climb one of harder sequences when I realized I'd messed the ropes up, I wondered if that silly mistake was going to cost me higher up. Had some big run outs, even ste was scared!!

One of my finer climbing experiences. Cruised until halfway but suddenly got desperately pumped, thereafter an exercise in holding it together with heavy breathing. Was raining into the sea throughout, but timed it well (sprint finish) to reach stance just as heavens opened and came over all euphoric. Reversing approach traverse in the wet felt E2 4a.
