Fantastic route! First pitch damp and a bit tricky for HVS. Top pitch well worth doing, don't know why they poo-poo it in the guidebook?

From the ledges, 2nd P2 and finished up Quartz Icicle Original Finish, more than the HVS I expected!

Lead the second pitch of this to get out after we were blown around on Quartz Icicle. Scary experience seconding it, the final pitch should have been awesome but wasn't fun due to wind. Never been so pleased to find myself in a chossy gully as I did at the top. Scary overall experience! Must do both routes when it's not so windy....

Abseiled in too far right onto a wet stance with a seal watching. It got better from there, with a couple of crux sections with huge exposure. Topped out with gorgeous sunset behind. Nice.

Omitted P1 because of tide. Nik Lead p2, I lead p3. I think P2 is probably the best HVS pitch I have ever done. P3 good. This climb is tougher than dream but probably better. A good combination would be p2 of this linked into the rest of dream

really amazing climb! it was extremely hot and sunny but that didnt affect the climbing. there are one or two loose rocks less now, and to me and dad is one of the best routes in the country of that grade! :) excellent day climbing

Pitches 2 and 3 only. I led pitch 2, Neil led 3. Brilliant route - significantly harder than Dream, and better, although not as outlandish and unexpected. The juggy bit up the steep wall was especially brilliant. Finished top pitch (also good and better than expected) just as the sun went down.
