Great route, but incredibly loose and dirty, and got properly attacked by a seagul

Brilliant, sustained, serious. Scary all the way but especially the last 20ft. E3,5b.

stiff and thought provoking reintroduction to Gogarth after many years away from this unique and special place... hooked again.

Stunning route, led p2, the best pitch on yellow walls I have done to date. A camalot 4 eases the emotional terror

Last pitch only after traversing too far on The Moon. Awesome slabby pitch despite being covered in dust and loose! Hold broke on me at the start and I ended up back on the belay ledge!

Led P1. I thought this was utter class, the top pitch is amazing and totally absorbing when you're on it. Less than perfect rock but decent / good gear throughout, definitely worth bringing 2-3 large cams for top pitch. The hardest bit was gaining where the wall meets the slab but it keeps coming right to the end with a couple of trickier sections. Perhaps it was lack of familiarity with the terrain or because I was seconding but some of this seemed 5c to me. Possibly for the same reasons but I can't understand why this is bottom of the E3s in NW Rock. I can see it isn't so physical but it demands much more than many of the E3s much higher in that list; upper end E3 for me, Alex sums it up well below.

2nd pitch, superb! Bit wet but still steady climbing and plenty of gear available (allbeit in slightly soft rock) Low in the grade, highly recommended

Led P2. stunning, on your toes (so to speak) all the way to an exciting exit. Top end E3 i reckon, never hard but never 'safe'.

Very poor protection, Sind is Welsh for sand apparently, very appropriate. This was one of the loosest climbs I have ever done, not difficult climbing but disconcerting given the nature of the rock and questionable protection. Good fun though!

Hated this climb, terrified even seconding by the nasty state of the rock, impressed that Mick managed to lead it. We did this as Alec & Steve were putting up Creeping Lemma and trundling some huge blocks into the sea. Would have been happy if the whole crag was trundled, surprised it is still standing...
