Working session, all the moves done, loving the top groove weirdness. Hopefully start redpointing next time.

phew, thought this might end up being an epic, but a few days on a toprope did the trick, and got it on the first red point day. Knowing the bottom half from doing silk teddies made a big difference. Sweet, hardest route to date, and an amazing one at that!
mhairi thorburn - Lead RP - 19/May/11 with pug

Psyched that it didn't take long to get. Best sport route at the crag!

Yeah! Can't believe it! Nearly off again at the Marlena crux but just managed to keep it together. Direct move at 4th felt fine.
julesp - Lead RP - 15/Sep/10 with Marcus, MelH

Some of the guys thought going up to the arete after the forth bolt wasn't really cricket so gone back to going direct. Pinch at 4th with right hand. Move feels easier than it did at start of summer but still powerful.

julesp - Lead dog - 30/Jun/10 with fraser, Marcus

Got it in 2 sections. Falling off a little bit higher every time! Found a better sequence for top to get rid of scary deadpoint.

10 degrees colder made all the difference. 2nd redpoint.
sheppy - Lead RP - 26/May/10 with jules

1st redpoint achieved seventh bolt, then sun came round and it was game over! :-(
