had climbed this on top rope and then led on preplaced gear a few weeks ago. still almost cocked up the final slab due to rope drag - got part way up slab then was unable to move amd had to untie from one rope, then haul like a bastard to get enough slack on the other to finish - scary. Lesson - however much you think youve extended further down, extend it more!

Moving into the crack from the large ledge was trial. In the end a jam and layback/undercut combination worked nicely. Thanks to some nearby unknown climbers from the VCCC for the moral support!
