End of the day, hexes only, nice jams.
|Matt Harmon||10/Mar||Lead O/S||
Probably 4c to start. Good route.

3 falls. Hard even if you can jam, which I can't.
Very 'grit' a fun and thrashy route
|Dan Geh||08/Sep/12||Lead O/S||
easy straight forward jamming.

Found this one pretty tough to start off, fell off the first bit once, came down for a rest and then led the route clean after that. I made liberal use of the tree!

managed to avoid using the tree
wouldn't have got up this without jamming!

Might have used the tree 'a bit'

This is a lovely obvious line, sure Joe Brown would have bagged it if he hadnt been beaten to it. For a non jammer like myself it felt tough at the bottom.

A hidden gem!
Pleased to get this first go as the start looked tricky. Definitely a case of planning the footwork. I also pre-selected a couple of hexes for the obvious placements, just in case. Felt like a couple of satisfying jams then a cruise to the top - lovely!
Good route. Lots of jamming.

Was really happy about this, when I got to it I was sure I was going to fall but it looked like a pretty safe route to take a lob on! Very slippery and rather blank start for your feet, with two solid jams. Eventually you can move your feet up to the rather worn footholds and get a bomber jam in the back and work your way up to the green ledge. From there up its really quite straight-forward. I used the tree as it was there to be used although not essential! First Matt had a jab at it, avoided jamming like the plague and unsuprisingly fell a number of times! Then Dad had a go, dogged a couple of times but eventually did it pretty much clean which I was glad of as he did it without floundering! And did the rest with ease. Then Matt had another go, and did it clean, and with only minimal use of jams somehow! Was very happy with it once he had got up unsuprisingly! Really at my limit of jamming on this one but really enjoyed it. Hardest 4c I have done on lead so was very glad to onsight it!
Dad, Neil, Matt
short dog at start
Nice ltttle crack climb, hidden away, tricky and slippery start with painful jam to get established, then relatively straightforward.
Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow - not a route to try to learn to jam on. Top half is lovely though.

Found this desperate, could barely open my right hand afterwards!
