Brilliant climbing up the slabby wall on the right of the East Bay - as good as short outcrop routes get. Plenty of gear and some good rests, but scarcely any moves below 5b! High in the grade.

Ticklists: Central Belt - Local Classics, Progression.

Looks shit from bottom but it's a great sustained climb with ledge a third of way up. Chuft to get the onsight. Had a fight for it.

Was cruising up until the crux when my right foot popped having had to rest at the same point on my attempt on Sunday. Immediately jumped back on, led on 2nd attempt of the day, so 3rd overall. Gear all over this route - offsets were fantastic. Absolutely awesome route!
Hugh Simons - Lead RP - 21/Jul/15 with John McKenna, David McKinney

Awesome climbing. Great rests at half way point, sustained thereafter. Had to take a rest near the top, when I got the moves after the rest I was kicking myself as I was so close! Next time... Much harder than Welcome to the Cruise.

Awesome climbing, very techy. but generally not too intimidating! the gear was generally good and rests weren't too hard to find. Used my first legit fist jam!
CaelanB - Lead O/S - 24/May/15 with Joe Barlow

Reachy and thin with overhead protection.
Ian Jones - Lead O/S - 19/May/15 with DCBBB (Robert Durran)

Tried this a couple of years ago and sat on the gear near the top pumped out of my mind. No such problems today.

2 falls. One from starting moves but more to do with leader tentativeness. Great and difficult climbing from then on. Got stuck at the top 'pod' couldn't work feet high enough and fell from there. Tried hard though. Nails.
Stevie989 - Lead dnf - 02/Oct/14 with Fiend

Sub optimal conditions, but no excuse - greased out of good jam. Fine with less pump.

looks like someone's taken a tar brush to it but the rock is just fine and the climbing is excellent.

Really good, despite manky appearance.

woop. That bush at the top needs trimmed though, a bit irritating tickling your face as you try to locate holds!

sustained sandbag. Excellent lead by Seb.
jazzyjackson - 2nd - 15/Jun/10 with sebrider

lower groove was excellent, upper section not as fun, greasy, imperfect finger locks.

Lovely starting moves, upper section took some thinking about, but goes nicely with bomber gear.

Awesome climbing. Thin, technical and slabby to start, steap, bold (not if you can hang on and place gear) and technical to finish. Pretty bloody hard!
