An Adventurous VS route with lots of loose rock and one or two great pitches.
Well worth the outing, the North Face has a great atmosphere about it.

Amazing setting right of Ossians Cave. 6-7 pitches with highlights being the chimney sections at pitch 3, just wide enough for chicken wings and occasional whole body shuffling. Overall a hell of a lot of loose rock ( russian roulette is not my fav game ). Crux was a slightly overhanging cleft which was moss/lychen covered and needed some cleaning. Views fantastic and atmosphere excellent, saw no other climbers on any of the North Face routes which is what its all about. Left the rucksacks at the base of the route ( dont do it ! )Finished route at 7.30pm. Blundered around for hours trying to find Ossians cave and after a few 50 metre ab-seils through trees and into gullys etc we realised we had descended too far down and too far East, hence a low light sprint to pick up the bags at 10pm and got back to the car just before midnight.
