RIP Keef the Kittin, Poor lil' Bugger E1 5b
26m. On your right as you enter the West End is a distinctive winding arete. Start just right of the arete, on the left side of a steep, brown wall. Climb past a horizontal crack to a right-slanting one just right of the arete. Climb this strenuously and pull over onto ledges. Go up a short slab and then round the arete onto the Death Wish slab. Climb this, and the arete above, to the top.

This climb is in 3 logbooks, and on no wishlists.

I got tempted on the arete a few times but went straight up the crack eventually. The best thing about this rout is the view of the quarry from the top.

E1 5b seems about right. Powering up the diagonal crack feels a bit eliminate, as you can reach layaway holds on the arete itself. Perhaps these are allowed?
