Didn't actually Do Sinister as was busy, did gully to the right we monikered Very Sinister Gully. Worth about III, Jedi soloed first by Jurgen, just as it it was started to get really interesting a crab attached to a rope dangled by me. It would be of been churlish to the extreme not to clip it. Cheers Jurgen

Lallylandslider - 2nd - 07/Feb/10 with michael burrows

Soloed up to the ice pitch. Good build up of ice, but had suffered from the thaw. The steep start was fine, but the as the angle backed off the ice made a booming sound when you kicked it. Ice maybe 4 inches thick, but detached from rock behind. Not worth putting any screws in. Well defined gully above before the open snow slopes.

Sankey - AltLd - 30/Jan/10 with Jon

Soloed up to the main pitch. I led this (thin but there), C led the last pitch. Then loads of nice neve to the top. Descent via Crib Goch.
Simon Caldwell - AltLd - 30/Jan/10 with Carmen

Soloed up to the main pitch. Good effort from Clare. I led this, i thought it ok but ice was bit cruddy for screws so didn't bother(ok for axes) to a solid belay just over the top. Then lots of snow plodding up gully and open slopes to top out in sunshine on ridge - wonderful. Descent via Crib Goch.
lithos - AltLd - 30/Jan/10 with Clare Usher

Free helicopter ride home thanks helping with a rescue :)Wild day :)
sebrider - AltLd O/S - Feb/09 with Dan Walker

Met fellow solo-er and decided to tackle Sinister. Rope tied around waist, no harness, one ice screw and one nut for belay. '4' pitch steep and tough for a III. Partner did not follow so soloed rest of route drowning in spindrift.
