Justifiably one of the very classic 50 Rock Climbs of North America, the longest and most impressive lines of in the meadows.

Brilliant route, although the first half of the route is definitely the best part. P2 is brilliant for 60 m.

Excellent crack climbing amidst magnificent scenery. Returning to Tuolumne you fall in love with it all over again. Strikingly different to the Valley - baking hot there, but we wore lightweight downs throughout on this cool north face. Led Ps 2,4,6. Then simul climbed last few to summit and its marvellous views, where we finally got the sun.

7/10 started really nicely, but petered out a bit towards the top.

He loved it, I have smaller hands than him! Fabulous climbing all the way up on a sunshiny day.

Brilliant route but alas very popular so slow going. We did it in 7 pitches, moving together for the last 4 is the way forward and 60m ropes enable good ledges to be reached doing 1-3 in two pitches. Lots of great crack and face climbing all the way up. Ben says "Best route I've ever done" About HVS 5b seems right, crux low down...

Brilliant! Done in 8 pitches - led all but 3 and 7. Done in about 5 hours. Should have woken about 2-3 hours later, there was a bit of a queue. Had already found it busy in early afternoon earlier in the trip and so i was keen to do it this time. Probably about HVS/E1 5b, the edges on the crux are a bit polished.

One of the finest routes I've ever climbed. You can't leave the meadows without doing this.

An excellent route except we got stuck behind a very slow party of three. Got down just before dark and then got lost in the woods going back to the car. No head touches!!!! The next day was 9/11.

Perfect for alternate leads with a weaker partner (i.e me) able to take all the easier pitches! Fabulous route - best at Tuloumne

Late start at 1:30 pm but at least this meant we weren't caught behind other parties. P1 was a bit damp and cold, but sun came round higher up. Great climbing in middle pitches. Just got down by dark.
