Early Riser** E5 6a
[Early Riser, Earl Crag, 2 kb]The narrow ramp cutting rightwards up the centre of the face is a classic. Balancy and unprotected - scary stuff. © ROCKFAX
The ramp up the wall left of the small grassy terrace. Delicate bridging and smearing in a generally off balance position seems to work. Low in the grade, but could be a nasty fall! Spotter recommended!

Would like to have onsighted it but it was really dirty. threw the rope down and tried it before cleaning to see if it would have been ok but blew the top when foot slipped of green smear. thanks rope! wiggy top move, but great climbing.

A bit hot, even on Earl. Struggled on the bottom section but was OK on the top bit.
