Pinnacle Route* S
Two unispiring pitches, followed by a strenous corner crack (4c in my view), moving right up arround to the tip of the pinnicle, airy step onto the steep wall, followed to the top.
This climb is in 30 logbooks, and on no wishlists.

Done in 1 pitch from the grassy ledge 10m up. Corner section shouldn't be severe
Gabe Oliver - Lead O/S - 28/Sep/14

The guide book said severe but I disagree. Dave did brilliantly and got cut and bruised for his efforts. If it wasn't for the blood trail on the third pitch, I'd never have found the way.

Had an epic the year before, Ewan wanted to see what it was about - got massively battered and bruised (again!). Still stand by this being more than 'severe'

Initial plan was for me to only lead first pitch, but had a go on the second and managed to get up the short chimney just past the belay point. Had a bit of an epic getting up the crack in the corner (way too hard for a severe!) but lead on to top. Way beyond my comfort zone leading, but an awesome finish to the day. Became a bit of an epic with second ab'ing off.

James led first two pitches. Start of third pitch was wet in critical place which didn't appeal to either of us

Second pitch hard for the grade. Great fun overcoming the crux corner crack though!

Did it as a second with Dave and Matt. Had to ab off after the first pitch because of rain.
Chris Perry - 2nd dnf - 21/Jun/09

retreated due to bad weather..

First 2 pitches very vegetated.Top pitch is excellent and much cleaner- very strenuous and a good 4a/4b.
bobpilgrem - Lead O/S - 29/Aug/07 with Bob/Tom

Very, very vegetated and not worth the effort for pitches 1 and 2. Pitch 3 is excellent however.

My notes have the words 'energetic' underlined in the guide book. The first two pitches I have as 'scrappy'
