Don't know whether to count this as 'Much Ado about Nothing', 'Complex Variable' or neither. Climbed up to a dodgy microcam placement, traversed a long way right to a thread on the concretions of 'Complex Variable', and then up and left to where I could clip the tape on the peg. Tried to traverse left to get to the flake, but didn't trust the dusty rock or the hand holds, so continued straight up through steep ground on concretions to get to a tree on the right, which I slung. Then made my precarious way left and up (above the flake) past loose-feeling rock to the abseil tree. Not my favourite climb of the day.

I don't think this is worth a star - it's lacking a logical line, it's bold and on suspect rock, and there's dangerously loose blocks in and around the top corner.

Took me ages to find this climb until I realised you had to climb a dirty mound at the end of the wall with War of the worlds on it. Couldn't find protection until the obvious thread runner about 30ft up. After that it was easy.
