Reveille** HS 4b
A memorable pitch that contains a good variety of moves. The start especially needs good dry conditions. Start 4m left of the right edge of the face at the base of a left-trending line of improving holds. 28m. Move up and leftwards along the line of improving holds to below a wide crack. Traverse left across the face to another widening crack/chimney and climb this line and the wall above to the top. © ROCKFAX

John Nuttall - Lead - 03/Sep/14 with Sharon

Delicate and bold traverse with gear a little way away. I think as hard as P2 of diocese which gets VS 5a! Stef started leading and got as far as the traverse but backed off and I lead it.

Felt quite exposed on the traverse, very delicate climbing and the gear seemed a long way away!

Start tricky, but traverse straight-forward, if you go up a bit to large jug holds!

thomasaneurinsmith - 2nd O/S - 02/Jul/11 with Dad, Stuart Reeves

Not massively protected lower move + quite thin traverse = probably not HS. Excellent route.

chris687 - Lead O/S - 09/Apr/11

The end of the traverse is committing and felt harder than any of the Bosigran VSs we did the same weekend.
five - Lead O/S - 03/May/10 with AV

Interesting and a little akward in places. Nice route though.

Different Steve - 2nd O/S - 12/Apr/09 with Joe

Climbed with wet feet as hit by a wave after the ab descent. The traverse was soaking wet as well so all a bit slippery. But worth the stars

victim of mathematics - 2nd O/S - 03/Aug/06 with crossdressingrodney

Excellent but quite hard. Very delicate traverse.
