The normal 1st pitch has been affected by rockfall and is a bit harder and loose. Most parties are using an alternative start to the right. Go diagonally right up some slabs, then back left up a steep groove (IV+?) to rejoin the normal route.

Superb! First pitch polished but really nice after that. Helps to have some locals ahead of you with a topo :)

Lovely climb with awesome views. The first pitch is a bit polished but after that its pretty good rock (some loose stuff but that's normal for the Alps). We followed a French couple as they had a topo for the route, we had the 3 lines of description from the Alpine Club guide!
