traversed into top of 1st pitch from base of fingers ridge, lead middle pitch then had to back off onto the middle pitch of fingers ridge as the gully was bare and impassable, walked off before the fingers as it was dark

Was supposed to just be doing broken gully, which in itself was lovely and icey, but ventured a bit too high into unknown terrain up FANTASTIC rock grooves and before we knew it we found ourselves on the fingers! Brilliant climbing!!

Only my second real winter climb and a definitely an epic. Lots of snow made gear placements hard. Lead 2 and 4th. Top half much nicer than lower. Took 5 hours!
