βeta: Note that the top will need to be clear of gorse and brambles for an effective belay to be setup at the fence behind. The rock at the top is not bomber to ab or belay from. Unable to penetrate the gorse and bramble, and with his permission, I belayed a very strong partner from a belay made of several pieces in different parts of the suspect rock whence at the top he traversed left to an opening to the fence and brought me up. This strategy altogether cannot be recommended especially to people operating at the grade of this climb. Good route though! | βeta? | |
