Good, varied, climbing. The first cave pitch is no push over, and the final cave pitch is fantastic, though short. The required ice was all there, but dry and brittle: a slight thaw would be good. Malcolm Bass - AltLd - 16/Mar/13 with Simon Yearsley
Ice was in pretty good condition, so the climbing was reasonably straight forward, if a little pokey in places. Top exit chimney was great fun! Ken Applegate - Lead - 02/Mar/13 with Bram, Rich
Hidden - 23/Feb/13
Climbed up to the first cave. Pitch above looked thin (to say the least!). Tom had a good try, but backed off. Abbed off tat at the belay. SMC guide notes it can be very hard in poor condition. Monkey_Alan - 2nd dnf - 18/Feb/13 with Tom Starks
Climbed to first cave belay, ice thin, moves above belay on wall tenuous.climbed to top lip few times but backed off, downclimbed to belay and retreated. tomshanti - Lead dnf - 18/Feb/13 with Alan Blanchflower
1st pitch ice OK, 2nd pitch ice not so good with lots of sugar snow - quite an invigorating pitch! 3rd pitch err! Paul gave it good shot but zero ice, so ab'd off! Mountain Llama - AltLd - 14/Mar/11 with Mark & Paul
Abbed after 2 pitches... P3 with no ice was somewhat tricky!! Should have been on Harrisons but missed it altogether! markfairbank - AltLd dnf - 14/Mar/11 with Paul Sheehan, Dave Brown
Hidden - AltLd - 21/Feb/10
First moves on the traverse felt more like a tech 6 without neve. Knee deep in unconsolidated snow in intermediate gully. Good route in poor condition. Big Lee - AltLd O/S - 16/Feb/10 with Dan Moore
Hidden - AltLd - 16/Feb/10
Tricky mixed pitch getting out of the cave. TimPerkin - AltLd O/S - 30/Jan/10 with Chris Griffiths, Colin Beechey
