Rockfax Description
(The Tromsø Express) A fine route up the most prominent of the parallel grooves in the centre of the cliff. Three well-protected crack pitches make for a great route.
1) N6, 40m. Climb the black slab, step right and make a quick pull into the base of the groove. Follow it by laybacking and jamming to its top. Step right and climb up into a thin left-facing groove which leads to an excellent belay ledge on the left.
2) N6, 30m. From the right end of the ledge, climb a thin vertical crack just to the left of a grassy groove. Continue up cracks and flakes then move right onto a sloping belay ledge.
3) N5, 25m. Step right, climb the left side of the flake, then finger jam up an arching thin crack on the left. © Rockfax
