2nd day in Wales with friends, snow had cleared from previous day, rock was not to wet and weather was cold with only the occasional drizzle. Did not make it as far as the Cannon due to accident 600m approx in party (twisted knee) well equipped with rope, bothy bag etc. Tried to descend but realized potential for injury to other inexperienced party members was quite substantial, made decision to contact MR to advise them of situation and that all though in some distress we were making an attempt at descent. They already had a MRT member on the mountain scrambling with his son so they contacted him to access situation on arrival full MRT was scrambled and 15 MRT members after 6 hrs managed to get party member of the hill.

The season's first snow made it rather more wintery than we'd anticipated! It was really cold and a bit slippery. We met 2 nice men at the top who helped us find the way down. I'd love to do this again in warmer, drier conditions and take some of the harder lines.

First time up here. Partner was nervous about the wall before the notch, so we traversed east but didn't realise where we were and ended up following the complete Eastern Traverse to the summit (emerging between Adam and Eve). Still got some pretty serious scrambling for the grade as some steps were damp, loose and exposed. Used direct belays to bring partner up in these places.

In semi winter conditions, snow and ice from about 600 m. I took some of the more direct steeper sections sometimes using frozen vegetation as hand holds. No Adam and Even jumping unfortunatly as they were covered in rime

Sunny when we set out but murky by the time we summitted. Took all scrambling sections direct, lots of fun. 'The Dawes' put in an appearance on the summit asking if he was on Adam or Eve (or even if it mattered). He was on Adam but did not jump on Eve (she had a headache).

Training for Ex Cockney Simba the Headley Court Exped to Pt Lenna Mount Kenya. Lead a party of 9 with (cath and Chris Simmons as assistant Instr) from Headley Court Rescued 5 men from the climbers traveres. One them is the finacial director of Vision Alert who agreed to assist with the funding of Ex Cockney Simba.

Took a few UKCMC'ers up. My second time in two weeks, excessive? maybe.. but the conditions were just so stunningly perfect (clear sky, crisp ground, patches of snow) that I felt we just *had* to do it. Splendid.

Done about 5 times with other people as well as with Paul, and on my own once. As Mick says extra good to carry on over Bristly Ridge, and there are lots of other good scrambles in the area. Its not worth a Mod grade though, all major difficulties can be avoided (not that you'd want to avoid them...)
