Our first foray onto the east face, took us by surprise! We must have strayed onto the alternative sections of the route given in the Ogwen climbers club guide as we thought it much more than a Diff. Thoroughly enjoyable day and ended up with the summit to ourselves on a spectacular day! :)

Wasn't a diff, thats for sure.... guess i wondered a bit off route! we did a good 150ft of the gully below in boots with full packs, plus scrambled to the summit after. all in all an excellent day!
