There are only a couple of hard moves near the top, and these can be bypassed by the criminally tall, or by leaping for the tree. From the base of the abseils a direct start is also possible up the wide crack at 6b. © ROCKFAX

what an epic! started at 3pmish, topped out at 4am. needless to say -alot of faff. lead the entire route, got dark as Olly topped out the first pitch (resorted to massive pitches and did it in 4). not a nice place to be in the dark. uncomfortably anxious the entire time. scorpions+bats came out to play too. never been so relieved to top out. aided almost the entire line - circumstantial onsight!
