17m.

Rockfax Description
16m. The shallow overhanging groove in the left wall of Parsons' Chimney proves to be quite superb. Layback the lower section and bridge the upper, with an exciting finish on huge jugs. An Almscliff rarity, a route that is low in the grade! © Rockfax

UKC Logbook Description
The corner groove left of Parson's Chimney is a classic. Layback the polished flake to a cave and then climb the corner crack which peters out. Make you last runners good for a runout to finish on superb jugs.

A. Dolphin, Robert Heap. 03/May/1941.

βeta: Fantastic route, incredible rock and great moves. I was a little bit surprised at the pace between the gear in the middle section, safe but intimidating!

βeta: Climbed this yesterday, amazing route but quite runout in the top third. I think the previous HVS grade more fitting, VS leader could get into some trouble on this one. A fall from near the top would bring you close to the ground! Agree with Chads post, giving this VS is asking to cause accidents!

βeta: Dangerous to put this in at VS as a fall from the top could be nasty. Could be a Scottush E2! I thought it though at HVS 5a in my guide.
