["I always hang my wires out to dry mid-pitch". On The Beastly Traverse (VDiff), Swanage , 3 kb]30m. An enjoyable high-level Traverse with stunning positions for the grade leading from Cattle Troughs into the Jumble. Start just before the Beastly Step at the western end of the main ledge (chicken-head belay at foot level). climb up leftwards for 6 meters and then step onto a good ledge above the lip of a roof. Continue at this level till reaching a stance at Cheat. Climb a left-hand crack above for 3 meter and after moving around an arete finish as for Fingertip to a stake belay.

A hidden gem of a route, good length for the area on sound rock in an awesome situation. If you stick a belay in the middle it really makes the route!
