In great nick. Mantrap was as hard as expected but went clean (with a struggle)! 40 ft corner was bold- no gear. Great route. Moved together for 90% of it. Just short of 5 hrs including Slingsby's to start. Involved in rescue on Summit afterwards.

Awesome! Went round the mantrap since bare rock, not in keeping with the route. I got the 40ft corner. Took it fairly leisurely, topped out at 6pm, glorious sunset on descent. Down No 4 gully.

Traverse across and up to the first platform felt very exposed. Roped up half way across and led blocks of two pitches each, which worked well once we got into a rhythm. Bypassed a bone dry Mantrap by climbing a gully on the right. Rach led the bold 40 foot corner, which was thinly iced.

Amazing conditions, great nevee. Mantrap (go up the left) and 40 foot corner reasonably straightforward. 40 ft corner was only 20ft (lots of snow) and buried under so much rime you could get screws in! 2.5 hrs from first platform to summit. Slingsby's not in, we went up the back.

Great route, the easy bits are interesting and fun, the mantrap, quite frankly is desperate and easily the hardest tech 4 moves I've done. Reverse flagging, heel hooks and a comic snag of my leashes. I thought I made it look easy... Enjoyable if bold 100ft corner. All in all as good as Tower Ridge? Tough question, maybe not quite but maybe the weather and lack of views part of that..

An absolute Epic day and a truly fantastic route. Quite hard going and every pitch had something interesting in it. No neve or good ice entire route soft powder. Did it last summer, really glad to have done it this winter too. Moved together until a couple pitches below the mantrap. We cut too high up from the starting traverse along the snow ledge, and missed the first, and maybe the second platform. Alex led mantrap, I led the 40ft corner (got a 10cm screw, and a really good nut in at the bottom). Perfect climbing conditions, but not much visibility.

Some trouble finding the start, especially as we came from the (awful) CMD Arête/Glen Nevis approach. The buttress was in perfect nick, I led the mantrap and Keith got the 40ft corner, most of the rest simulclimbed. Awesome route, though it did feel a lot easier than Tower Ridge two months ago.

Guided. Awesome. This is my recollection... p1: broken chimney p2: continue up broken ledges to snowy platform p3: traverse left, then straight up short couloir with blocks in the middle, exit left to hanging stance p4: traverse back up and right across a snowfield to rejoin the ridge. (was there a pitch here?) move right under a head wall into a little scoop. belay. p5: move round right into a rock corner to make two steps-up p6: move left and up again on the ridge (I think) to the mantrap. p7: Aid up and over the mantrap p8: move round right into the snowy corner and climb to the top (exit slightly right) p9: long snow pitch to the short ice hump at the summit. Get the head down and make (carefully) for the bivi hut with aid of compass and sound map reading skills.
