Ticklists: Scottish Central Belt HVS.

Should bring shears next time for some gardening. Good route, great gear.
Really psyched to get this, though I was off. First 5b onsight? Steep and committing at the top, very good value for HVS!

Nice moves! The bridging at the top is ace. Feels like a classic

No recollection of having done this route in the past but I've logged it so must have done. Nice climb with lots of bridging. Hurt my writst abseiling down lion cub which made things a little tricky, however did the route cleanly apart from aiding on one bit of gear. Fairly confident I could have done move cleanly but was close to the top and wrist was really sore.
Forgot to bring my climbing shoes down, so ended up doing this in trainers..

Where was the 5b move? Felt 5a tops to me?
Very well protected

nice tricky top section.
Hard Very Spidery, needs more traffic.

Really enjoyed it especially the bridging. Didn't fall but benefited from a very tight rope

Good lead by Fiona.

A real psychological breakthrough for me. Absolutely laced it to make sure no repeat of 2008 (11 bits of gear). Really chuffed to get the ground up ascent. Overloaded with adrenaline by the top.

2 routes and then the heavens opened... And this one is more like VS 4c if you ask me. Placed a load of gear ready for the crux that never came.

Self-Belay. Nice route, it's all about the top.
Cracking route!!!! Lovey moves at the top though a bit scary.
Really enjoyable, my first HVS and it wasnt as scary as I thought it would be. Just a little bit of Elvis leg near the top.

Barely worth *.
Top roped first to clean off the cobwebs/dirt. Pre-placed a couple of bits of gear one at my previous high point and one in the top corner. I'm a big chicken but didn't fancy a return visit to A&E. Might have a go ground up one day.

Difficulties confined to the upper half, though they caused an onset of double disco-leg! Good interesting climbing.
Nice route. Tricky bridging move near top. Seems well protected tho.
|Neil Adams||21/Mar/10||Lead O/S|
Had to back off last year due to wet, slug-filled crack at top.
|Euan Strachan||15/Oct/09||Lead O/S||
Nice, a wee bit dirty and plenty of spiderwebs in the best holds
not much protection near the top.

Interesting crux, not sure I could lead it and I still don't trust the gear but good to force myself to go back to where I fell and confront the demons
climbed to crux on gear placed by partner before finnishing
Climbed to crux, lowered off. 2nd it later

First proper lead fall resulting in a broken thumb, no more climbing for 2008 :(
|Neil Mackenzie||04/Nov/07||2nd O/S|
Cobwebs, bird-shit, snails - apart from that a great climb ;-) Awkward bridging at the top, took a bit of working out.
|Stuart Macfarlane||22/May/07||Lead rpt||
Leader escaped onto Lion Cub near the top. So did I!
