Quarryboy 14/Sep/14 Lead O/S

Spent ages, trying to figure out where I was supposed to go, could just see this chalked sidepull flake thing and was trying to access it via some very unusable holds from the top of the pinnacle for ages without much luck, then tried going lower traversing into the crack and found the sequence, had no idea about the peg on the upper half either and only found it after abbing back down again, which made it a bit spicy.

Brilliant route. Very pleased with myself on this one. First ever E3 onsight!

Found this very tough in the middle. An awesome lead from Rob

Some prior knowledge of holds, and especially the gear placements, was a big advantage. I think this may be a two-star route.

Got it second go. Strenuous crux sequence. Will lead it soon, before I forget all the details.
