Had three goes. Bottled it at the lip the first two times and then realised that brambles were growing down the upper slab on the third attempt. Will be back with a rope and some secateurs to clean it before my next attempts - with more mats and spotters!

Drier today. Had a few goes on it, inching further towards the rock over each time. Got the pebble, sidepull and left foot up, just need to commit to the rockover!!! Awesome fun but scary, could feel the adrenaline coursing for a while afterwards.

Having failed on the Ames Low - Slugtaste link, I thought I'd miss out the wet holds on the traverse and give the 'Taste' a go. Turns out the holds near the top of that were wet too. Had one go and wimped out - another time.

Got the moves on a top rope. Just gotta man up now.

Spicy times! I stepped left at the top to stand on the flakes - staying really direct looks hard in its current (slightly green) state and the landing is a bit grim. Awesome climbing up to it though, very cool highball!
