Swung leads and went for the top pitch. Made it about half way before slipping off/losing balance on the layback. Onsight was gone and psyche was shot so french freed to the chains... Corin then cruised on second made me realise it was possible. Lowered to the chains and climbed on a TR fine...berated myself for cowardice

Corin took first pitch. I led 2nd pitch. Found the bit I fell off before easy...got spooked on upper 5.10 section as feet kept slipping as I moved off. But made it..power screamed. Highlight of the trip. e2/3 5b ... No real hard moves but incredibly sustained.

Aid practice. Tricky move left to the belay in my boulder x's!

chris smith ?/Apr/15 Lead O/S

Aided the route as practice. Full of pin scars

5.10 A0 version unfortunately. The initial moves on the chips were too skittery.

First pitch only, frigged past the bolts as mentioned in the guide. Really nice climbing although felt a little insecure in the 33degree heat.

French free'd the bolts then led the 5.8 crack, brilliant but a scarey move across to belay chains.

5.10 A0, 1st pitch only. Fell trying the crux free. First Valley 5.10, found it pretty tough but a very cool route.
