It was caked in snow from a snow fall a few days before. Really amazing condition for this climb. The walk in was really pleasant and we had crampons on from when we entered the corrie. Roped up at the bottom of black spout, with Rob in the middle and Sam at the back taking photos. Great experience for a beginner and thoroughly enjoyable. We got to the top and the visibility was nil - could barely see 10 metres in front of us. It was quite easy cause we just walked around till with the edge on our left till we got to the walk off. Over all, a great day. Started at 9:30 and back in the car at about 5ish. Parked at Glen Muick.

Lower portion in adequate condition - firm snow. But from the branch to LHB onwards almost no snow. Some ice and frozen turf, nice little challenges but not what we were hoping to find.
