What a day, an exceptional route in good condition and fantastic weather, this season just keeps coming. Steady climbing for the most part with just a lack of runners, finished up the square cut chimney as the normal way looked soft.
Captain Solo - AltLd - 03/Apr/13 with Erick

Never more than 5 runners, a few of them tied off screws. But excellent.
French Erick - AltLd O/S - 03/Apr/13 with ewan Lyons

Magnificent adventure. Lonely 60m pitches all the way. Good belay below the crux .... and that was about it. Corner pitch at top good value to finish. Mildly frightening from base to top!
Tim Sparrow - 31/Mar/13 with Ned

nniff - AltLd - 31/Mar/13

Great route, nice to do an independent line on the orion face.

Linked from Orion direct
gw3285 - AltLd - 27/Feb/13

Excellent conditions probably made things a bit easier than normal. Gear and belays still poor/sparse
TeeBee - AltLd O/S - 26/Feb/13

crux icicle was a bit hollow for my liking, the rest of the route was in fantastic nick
Ginger McGrath - Solo O/S - 24/Feb/13

Hidden - Lead - 2011

In great nick. Mixture of good peg (in situ) & less good ice screw belays. Soft grade VI
Grezza - Lead O/S - 27/Mar/10 with Paul E

Avoided crux icefall pitch on the left. Topout the hardest pitch up corner/groove no prtection. Ace route!
rob1 - AltLd O/S - 27/Mar/10 with Tony Barton

Great fun! climbed pretty quickly - topped out at midday
Joe Nunn - 2nd - 19/Apr/08 with Tom Stewart & Andrew Stokes

Did first three pitches before deciding we liked runners and belays too much, so escaped onto the top half of zero. Sadly too much unconsolidated snow on the route to be any fun.
Chad123 - AltLd rpt - 15/Mar/08 with Emily and Humble

Absolutely bomber nick! Thin face slabs at their best, chimney exit...
simon_D - Solo - 02/Mar/08

Lots of fun. Totally terrifying and completely exausted at the end. Top pitch was not in good condition so had to escape into zero Gully to finish

Very little protection and poor belays on the last 3 pitches.
GaryK - AltLd O/S - Feb/87 with Miles Bright

Started off as a pair but mate who was soloing decided to take over belaying. Soloed from the ice fringe. A great day out.
