Went up the slab/opposite corner before heading back to the 'chimney' (which is more of an offwidth), going this way felt v. hard but probably more down to the grease, mud and choss.

Oh my god, the 2nd pitch (I lead) was bloody unbelievably awful. Most awkward and uncomfortable climb ever. If that would have been my first climb ever i would have thought "Climbing is not for me".

The move across to the crack was slightly intimidating until I sussed out a bridging move, and then a delicate tip toe up the edge before another bridge higher up. Upper chimney is vegetated but block steps can be found on the edges. An interesting and enjoyable pitch in the dry, I think harder than 4a though.
