Start as for Sidewinder, tackle the obvious corner above and continue striaght up, crossing sidewinder and rejoining the final wall of Savage Slit.

Got on this after Deep Throat, so that I could try and lead a tech 6 route. Attempted to lead the corner, but really wasnt up for it. Got benighted after starting the route at 4ish. Topped out at 7ish. Pretty bad hooks up the corner.

I lead P1, Ross, P2. Very few gear, which is hard-gained, due to powder cover. The amount of ice is limited. Traverse to get established to the chimney was the crux with a poor runner. The main chimney section (15m?) had no gear, though there was good gear before and after.

I am a bit puzzled by the previous comment, the line after the corner is very obvious and gives harder climbing. Take a long sling to lasso the chockstone on this pitch or be prepared for a scary run out.

Nice first pitch but not much of a line beyond the corner.
