Nice, and probably borderline grade II considering the length. Unfortunately we had to turn back due to large areas of wind slab blocking us of at a little over 300m- definitely an avalanche black spot. Down climbing not so fun

Spent ages wearing our arms out by digging snowscrapes and belaying each other all the way from the bottom of the gully! The cornice was the first I've ever done and the steep snow and lack of protection made it pretty memorable! What's the point of roping up in this sort of situation? I probably would have taken Brian down with me had I come off...
