A sustained route that ventures on to the shady landward face of the pinnacle. Start on a sea level ledge at the base of a narrow, west facing slab - Helluva Slab.. 1) 5a, 22m. Climb the left side of the slab to a wide, horizontal break that leads left onto the landward-facing wall. Traverse left onto the face and climb a crack and flake to a good ledge and belay.. 2) 4c, 16m. Step left from the ledge and climb the left-slanting line of cracks and grooves to the top. © ROCKFAX
