Also known as 'Great Chimney'. The very prominent chimney down left from Great Western. Good protection, poished. Exit out left at the top for maximum value.

Followed Marissa up this green bird shit stained route. No real hand holds really just wedged myself in and slid up using my back, very graceful. Enjoyed the airy top out, had to climb without a helmet as you wouldn't fit through gap at top otherwise.

Not a massive fan of gritstone chimneys. Probably climbed the chimney too high because it was awkward to come into the "exposed outside exit" described in Rockfax. My head kept getting stuck so I had to ditch my helmet before topping out. Great last move.

half way up seconding this Hugh's phone rang. He answered it as he was suitably wedged and sold his house ! (Fell through though later) Did it again on 16.04.2008. That time, Hugh's lovely rescue Greyhound Misty chased a rabbit over the edge of the little ancient quarry on the other side of the crag and suffered a fatal broken neck.
