As described in the 2010 CC guide, climbing at Symonds Yat is only permitted on the north-west facing cliffs - from The Introductory Rocks to the Final Zone inclusive.
Dates: 1 March to 30 June
Reason: Nesting Birds
Peregrine falcons have established a nest since 2019 on Strathdon, in the White Wall. Climbers should therefore avoid all routes from Motorway Madness to Night Nurse, inclusive, during the restricted period.
YatFest 2019 , CC Wye Valley and Forest of Dean trad stars, blue list (VS and HVS) , Wye's it a trad classic (up to HVS)?

βeta: Echo Steve Gibbs - 20 March 22. This is hugely better than it appears from below. Don't be put off by the greenery. Very strong candidate for the second best VS at the Yat (after Whitt of course). | βeta?

βeta: Starts just left of the large yew tree, just right of the large rock scar above. Straight up the tricky groove to the end of the terrace, and then continue up the groove (using the right wall) to step left into the cave. Fun moves up and right out of the cave to continue following the groove up to finally take the obvious overhanging blocks on jugs. | βeta?
