UKC Logbook - 'Sea of Tranquillity'

45m, 2 pitches. A fine delicate climb of two pitches, both 5a. Start up a short wall above a grass platform a few metres left of Wild Mint, then left up a ramp and then quite delicately up and left to follow a crack. Step left below a little overlap half-way up rather than continuing up over a small overhang a little higher, to reach a niche. Above this very thin moves lead up left but can be avoided on the right (award yourself VS 4c if this is done!). The second pitch is slightly strenuous up the cracked wall to the right of a half-barrel over a little roof to the crack which is well protected with the hardest move the last one! The most popular route on the crag and re-cleaned in April 2019. Thread belay behind. Re-cleaned July 2020. Two steel stakes for belays placed July 2020 a few metres back from edge.
