Rockfax Description
An exposed and intricate main pitch on good rock. Scramble up The Old West Route to a rib left of the large triangular roof.
1) 4a, 26m. Climb the rib and wall on the left to a block - belay.
2) 5b, 18m. Take the groove in the arete above to a bulge and move right and up to an overhang. Pull past the overhang and climb the steep wall above to a small ledge and belay.
3) 5c, 26m. Move down and right around the rib. Climb the steep wall direct before moving leftwards to a groove that leads more easily to the top. © Rockfax
